Le 16 specie note di questo genere sono diffuse in vari paesi del mwdgAsia orientale: ben nove specie sono mwdwendemiche della mweaCina, una del mweqGiappone, una di mwegTaiwan e una del mwewVietnam. La specie dall'mwfaareale più vasto è la mwfqH. unifascigera, rinvenuta in varie località del Giappone, della Cina e della mwfwCoreacite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-0[1].

Le caratteristiche di questo genere sono state determinate sulla base delle analisi effettuate sugli esemplari di mwhgPoecilochroa unifascigera mwhwBösenberg & Strand, 1906cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-1[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2014cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-2[1].
